SOYA CHUNKS PORIYAL

INGREDIENTS

  • Soya chunks - 250gms
  • Onion - 2
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Red chilli -2
  • Tomato -1 
  • Red chilli powder - 1tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
  • Urad dhal - 1/2tsp
  • Channa dhal - 1/2tsp
  • Jeera - 1/2tsp
  • Salt
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil
  • Water
PREPARATION

  • In a pan add water, salt and cook the soya chunks. remove excess water and drain all water from soya.
  • In a pan adds 2tsp of oil, mustard seeds, urad dhal, chana dhal, jeera and onion.once onion changes its colour add ginger garlic paste, green chilli, curry leaves and red chilli.
  • Add tomatoes and chilli powder and cook tomatoes become mushy. then add cooked soya chunks. (if soya is big cut into small pieces )
  • Check salt and cook for 5 mins and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Best side dish for rasam rice and variety rice.healthy food for kids.
