INGREDIENTS

  • Potato - 2
  • Onion - 2 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato - 1(finely chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2tsp
  • green chili - 2
  • Red chili powder - 2tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
  • Coconut paste - 1/4cup
  • Coconut milk - 1 cup
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • Salt 
  • fennel seeds - 1/2tsp
  • oil
PREPARATION
  • In a pan cut the potato into small pieces, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt .mix well and keep it aside.
  • In a pan add oil, fennel seeds, onion, green chili, curry leaves, tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. cook till tomato becomes mushy.
  • Then add potatoes in the mixture and coconut paste, salt and cook for 5 mins.add 1cup water in the gravy and cook for 2 whistles.
  • After whistle has gone add 1 cup coconut milk and cook for 10 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
