SPINACH CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS

  • Spinach - 200gms
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1/2
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Red chilli - 2
  • Urad dhal - 1tsp
  • Channa dhal - 1tsp
  • Jeera - 1tsp
  • Pepper - 1/2tsp
  • Coconut - 1/2cup
  • Tamarind - 1small pinch
  • Red chilli powder - 1tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil
PREPARATION
  • In a pan add oil, urad dhal, chana dhal, jeera and pepper.
  • Then add onion and cook for 5 mins.once onion changes in its colour add green chilli, red chilli and ginger garlic paste.
  • Then add tomato and cook till tomato becomes mushy. then add spinach, coconut, tamarind and red chilli powder.cook for 5-10mins.and off the stove.
  • Grind the chutney and serve with dosa or idly.
