PODI IDLY

INGREDIENTS

  • Idly - 8
  • Onion - 1
  • Curry leaves 
  • Idly podi - 4tsp
  • Chili powder - 1/2tsp
  • Mustard - 1/4tsp
  • Urad dhal - 1/2tsp
  • Channa dhal - 1/2tsp
  • Coriander leaves 
  • Salt
  • Oil- 1tsp
  • Ghee- 1tsp
PREPARATION

  • Cut the idly into small pieces. (you can use leftover idly).In a plate mix idly podi, chili powder, and salt and keep it aside.
  • In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, chana dhal, urad dhal, and curry leaves. then add onion and cook well.
  • Once onion changes its color add half of mixed podi and saute well.
  • Add idly pieces and balance mixed podi and cook well for 5 mins.
  • Then add ghee and coriander leaves and off the stove.
  • Have it for breakfast or dinner. Healthy dish.
