INGREDIENTS
  • Onion - 1cup
  • Tomato -2 
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Green chili - 2
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
  • Red chili powder - 1tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Garam masala - 1tsp
  • Coconut - 1/4cup
  • Roasted gram - 1/4tsp
  • Fennel seeds - 1/4tsp
  • Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and bay leaf - 1each
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Coriander leaves
PREPARATION
  • In a pressure cooker add oil, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, bay leaf, and fennel seeds.
  • Add onion and cook till gets translucent color. then add ginger garlic paste, green chili, curry leaves.
  • Then add tomato and turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.
  • Add coconut and roasted gram in a mixer grinder and make it a paste.
  • Once tomato and masala cooked well, add salt, coconut paste, and 1 cup water.
  • Pressure cook for 2 whistles and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • you can add egg in kurma by boiling or scrambling.
  • Side dish for idly and dosa.
