- Onion - 1cup
- Tomato -2
- Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
- Curry leaves
- Green chili - 2
- Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
- Red chili powder - 1tsp
- Coriander powder - 1tsp
- Garam masala - 1tsp
- Coconut - 1/4cup
- Roasted gram - 1/4tsp
- Fennel seeds - 1/4tsp
- Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and bay leaf - 1each
- Oil
- Salt
- Water
- Coriander leaves
- In a pressure cooker add oil, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, bay leaf, and fennel seeds.
- Add onion and cook till gets translucent color. then add ginger garlic paste, green chili, curry leaves.
- Then add tomato and turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.
- Add coconut and roasted gram in a mixer grinder and make it a paste.
- Once tomato and masala cooked well, add salt, coconut paste, and 1 cup water.
- Pressure cook for 2 whistles and garnish with coriander leaves.
- you can add egg in kurma by boiling or scrambling.
- Side dish for idly and dosa.
