INGREDIENTS
- Tomato - 4
- Onion - 1
- Fennel seeds - 1tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
- Green chilli - 3
- Curry leaves
- Turmeric powder -1/4tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1tsp
- Poppy seeds - 1/2tsp
- Cashew nuts - 5
- Coriander leaves
- Mustard seeds- 1/4tsp
- Oil
- Salt
- Water
- In a pan add tomato and cook for 5- 10 mins and grind well.
- Again in a pan add oil, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, green chilli -1, curry leaves and onion.
- Once onion changes its colour add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and add tomato paste and 1 cup water and cook for 10 mins.
- In a mixer grinder add coconut, cashew nuts, green chilli, fennel seeds, poppy seeds and grind well into a paste by adding water.
- Add coconut paste into gravy and add half cup water.
- Cook for 5 mins and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Best side dish for idly and dosa.
