GREEN PEAS PULAO

Cooking time - 20 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • Green peas - 1cup
  • Basmati rice - 2cup
  • Coconut milk -2cup
  • Water - 2cup
  • Green chili - 4
  • Coriander leaves
  • Mint leaves
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2tsp
  • Onion - 1
  • Bayleaf,cardamom,cinnamon,cloves,cardamom- 1each
  • Salt
  • Oil and ghee- 2tsp
PREPARATION
  • Soak basmati rice for 1/2hour.
  • In a pressure cooker add oil and ghee, bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves.
  • Then add onions.once onion changes its color add ginger garlic green chili paste. (in a mixer grinder add ginger, garlic, and green chili and make it a paste)
  • Add green peas, coriander leaves, mint leaves, and salt cook for one min and add coconut milk.
  • Once it started to boil add rice and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  • Once pressure released add 1 tsp of ghee and serve hot.
