Cooking time: 20 minsINGREDIENTS
- Oats - 1cup
- Moong dhal - 3/4cup
- Jaggery - 3/4cup
- Water
- Ghee -1/4cup
- Cashew nuts,raisins,badam - 3tsp
- Cardamom powder - 1/4tsp
- In a pan add 1tsp of ghee and roast oats for 5-10mins.
- Pressure cook the moong dhal for 2 whistles and mash well.
- Once oats get roasted add 1cup water and cook well. add mashed moong dhal and jaggery and stir well.
- In a pan add 2tsp of ghee and roast raisins, cashew nuts and badams.
- Add roasted nuts and 2tsp of ghee and cardamom powder to Pongal and cook for 5 mins.
- Serve hot.
