INGREDIENTS
- Oats - 1cup
- Moong dhal -3/4cup
- Pepper - 2tsp
- Jeera - 1tsp
- Green chili - 2
- Curry leaves
- Cashew nuts -5
- Ginger - 2tsp
- Salt
- Water
- Turmeric powder -1/4tsp
- Ghee and oil
- In a pan dry roast the oats for 5-10mins, cook moong dhal by adding 1cup and turmeric powder water in the pressure cooker and mash it.
- Add 1 cup water to oats and cook well.
- Add cooked moong dhal in oats.
- In another pan add ghee and oil, ginger, jeera, pepper, green chili, and curry leaves and cook well.
- Add cooked ingredients in oats Pongal and salt.
- Cook for another 5 mins and serve hot.
