CAPSICUM MASALA

INGREDIENTS

  • Capsicum - 1
  • Onion-1
  • Tomato -1
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Groundnuts- 2tsp
  • White sesame seeds  -2tsp
  • Coriander seeds -1tsp
  • Red chilli - 5
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
  • Amchur powder- 1/4tsp (optional)
  • Curry leaves
  • Coconut - 2-3tsp
  • Kasturi methi
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Water
PREPARATION

  • In a pan add 1tsp of oil, add groundnuts, white sesame seeds, coriander seeds, curry leaves , red chilli and curry leaves.roast and grind into a powder.
  • In a pan add 2-3tsp of oil, onion,ginger-garlic paste, tomato and wait till oil separates from the gravy.
  • Add capsicum and grounded paste, salt, turmeric powder and amchur powder and cook for 3-5 mins and add water 1 cup.
  • Close and cook for 10-15 mins till oil separates from the gravy.
  • Garnish with Kasturi methi and coriander leaves.
