INGREDIENTS
- Basmathi rice -1/2cup
- Ponni rice(cooking rice) - 1/2cup
- Chana dhal - 1/2cup
- Toor dhal - 1cup
- Yellow moong dhal - 1 cup
- Urad dhal - 1/4cup
- Jeera - 2tsp
- Red chilli - 4
- Curry leaves
- Salt
- Onion-1cup
- Green chilli- 2
- Coriander leaves
- Oil
- Water
- Hing - 1/2tsp
- Soak basmati rice, cooking rice, channa dhal,toor dhal, yellow moong dhal and urad dhal for 2 hours.
- In a mixer grinder add jeera,hing, red chilli and curry leaves.grind to a coarse paste and add soaked rice and dhal and salt.
- The grounded paste should be in the consistency of dosa or idli batter.
- In that add water according to your consistency.
- Then add onion, green chilli, and coriander leaves.
- Pour in dosa pan like dosa and have adai when it is hot.
- Coconut chutney and onion chutney, tomato chutney will be the best side dish for adai.
