BASMATHI RICE ADAI DOSAI

Cooking time: 3hours

INGREDIENTS

  • Basmathi rice -1/2cup
  • Ponni rice(cooking rice) - 1/2cup
  • Chana dhal - 1/2cup
  • Toor dhal - 1cup
  • Yellow moong dhal - 1 cup
  • Urad dhal - 1/4cup
  • Jeera - 2tsp
  • Red chilli - 4
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Onion-1cup
  • Green chilli- 2
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Hing - 1/2tsp
PREPARATION

  • Soak basmati rice, cooking rice, channa dhal,toor dhal, yellow moong dhal and urad dhal for 2 hours.
  • In a mixer grinder add jeera,hing, red chilli and curry leaves.grind to a coarse paste and add soaked rice and dhal and salt.
  • The grounded paste should be in the consistency of dosa or idli batter.
  • In that add water according to your consistency.
  • Then add onion, green chilli, and coriander leaves.
  • Pour in dosa pan like dosa and have adai when it is hot.
  • Coconut chutney and onion chutney, tomato chutney will be the best side dish for adai.
