BESAN FLOUR CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS

  • Besan flour - 2tsp
  • Oil- 3tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Chana dal-1/2tsp
  • Urad dal - 1/2tsp
  • Onion- 1cup
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Fennel seeds - 1/4tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/4tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Tomato puree - 1/2cup
  • Salt 
  • Water - 1 cup
PREPARATION

  • In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, onion, curry leaves and green chilli.
  • Once onion cooked well add ginger garlic paste. after 3 mins add tomato puree, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt
  • When the oil separates from gravy add the besan flour mix. (mix 2tsp of besan flour with one cup of water)
  • Cook for 15 mins and garnish with coriander leaves.
