IDIYAPPAM BRIYANI

Cooking time - 30 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • Idiyappam - 10 numbers or sevai - 2pks
  • onion - 1
  • ginger garlic paste - 2tsp
  • green chilli - 3
  • mint and coriander leaves 
  • veggies including mushrooms - 1and half cups
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • pepper powder - 1tsp
  • jeera -  1/2tsp
  • salt
  • oil and ghee
  • lemon juice - 2tsp
PREPARATION

  • Heat the idiyappam and finely chop into small pieces. (if you have sevai you can add that by making into small pieces).
  • In a pan add oil and ghee, jeera, onion, once onion cooked well add ginger garlic paste.
  • after 2 mins add green chilli, mint and coriander leaves.cook for a min and add veggies excluding mushrooms. (saute mushrooms separately in butter and add it into veggies once other vegetables are cooked)
  • cook for 5-7  mins till vegetables cook well. then add idiyappam,chilli powder and pepper powder and salt.
  • saute well for 5 mins and add lemon juice and off the stove.
  • garnish with coriander leaves.
