BABY CORN GRAVY

INGREDIENTS

  • Baby corn - 1cup
  • Bay leaf,cinnamon,cloves,cardamom - 1each
  • Onion - 2
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Tomato puree - 1cup
  • Cashew nut paste - 1/4cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
  • Chili powder - 1tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Water - 1cup
  • Oil and butter - 2tsp
  • Kasturi methi - 1tsp
  • Coriander leaves 
PREPARATION

  • In a pressure cooker add oil, butter, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom.
  • Add onion. once onion changes its color add ginger garlic paste.
  • Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, chili powder,garam masala, cumin powder, and coriander powder. cook till oil separates from gravy.
  • Add cashew nut paste and baby corns and cook for 5 mins and add water and salt.
  • Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  • Once pressure has gone add Kasturi methi and coriander leaves.
