POTATO PANEER BALLS

Cooking time : 30 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • Potato - 250 gms
  • Paneer - 150 gms
  • Onion - 1 cup ( finely chopped )
  • Green chilli - 3(finely chopped)
  • Garam masala - 3 tsp
  • Salt
  • Coriander leaves
  • Cheese (optional)
  • Bread - 1 packet
  • Oil
PREPARATION

  • In a pressure cooker boil the potatoes and remove the skin and smash the boiled potatoes and keep it aside.
  • In a pan add 2 tsp oil ,onion and green chilli.
  • Once the onion changes its colour add smashed potatoes and garam masala .
  • Then add paneer and salt ( grate the paneer).
  • Cook for 5 mins and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Take a bread slice and cut in to two pieces.
  • In a bowl take some water and dip bread in to water and strain the water from bread by pressing in hand.
  • Then make potato in to small balls.(cut the cheese in to small pieces and keep it inside the potato balls,its optional)
  • Keep the potato balls inside the bread and cover it.(bread should not contain any water).
  • Keep the balls in fridge for 10 mins.(you can use these balls for 2 days by keeping it in fridge in a air tight box)
  • Fry the balls in hot oil.
