Cooking time : 60- 70 minsINGREDIENTS
- Red gram - 1/2 cup
- Moong dal - 1/4 cup
- Chana dal - 1/4 cup
- Barnyard - 1 cup
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Chana dal - 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
- Red chilli - 5-7
- Coconut - 3 tsp
- Cloves,cinnamon,cardamom -1 (optional)
- Vegetables - 1 cup
- Garlic - 3
- Curry leaves
- Small onion - 10
- Tomato - 1
- Hing
- Tamarind pulp - 1/2 cup
- Oil
- Mustard seeds
- Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Cashew nuts - 5
- Ghee
- Red chilli
- Water
- Salt
- Coriander leaves
Bisibelabath powder
- In a pan add oil,cloves,cinnamon,cardamom,red chilli,coriander seeds,pepper,cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal,fennel seeds,coconut.
- Roast everything and grind in a mixer grinder.
- Soak barnyard for 10 mins. in a pan add water and cook barnyard.(for 1 cup rice 4 cups water).
- Cook red gram, moong dal,chana dal in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles.
- In a pan add oil,small onion,hing,curry leaves,garlic, vegetables and tomato.
- After adding vegetables add salt ,bisibelabath powder and water.
- Once the vegetables cooked add tamarind pulp.
- Mix barnyard and cooked dal well.
- After 5 mins add barnyard and cooked dal with vegetables and cook for 10 mins.
- In another pan add ghee ,mustard seeds,curry leaves, fenugreek seeds,red chilli,cashew

nuts. - Add this mixture in the bisibelabath.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
