VENDAKAI PULI KULAMBU

INGREDIENTS


  • Ladies finger -250gms
  • Onion-1
  • Tomato-1
  • Green chilli-2
  • Curry leaves
  • Garlic - 3 pcs
  • Tamarind - small size
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder -2 tsp
  • Coriander powder -3/4tsp
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Coriander leaves
  • Methi seeds - 1/2tsp
  • Coconut- 1/4cup
PREPARATION


  • Soak tamarind in water. (lemon size). In a pan add little oil and saute ladies finger (cut into small pieces) for 5-7 mins.
  • In a pan add gingely oil, methi seeds, onion, curry leaves,greenchilli and garlic. Saute till the onion gets brown colour.
  • Then add tomato and cook for 5 mins and add turmeric powder, chilli powder,corriander powder, add tamarind water.
  • Once tamarind mixes well with onion and tomato add the ladies finger and salt cook for 5 mins.
  • Then add coconut paste. (coconut ground in to paste by adding little water).
  • Oil should separte from the dish. once it came out add coriamnder leaves and off and serve with hot rice.
