INGREDIENTS
- Mutton - 1/2 kg
- Jeera - 1tsp
- Coriander seeds -1 tsp
- Red chilli - 5
- Curry leaves
- Small onion - 1 cup
- Raw rice - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder -1/2tsp
- Cloves -2
- Cinnamon stick -1
- Bay leaf - 1
- Salt
- Pepper powder -1tsp
- Water
- Oil
- Coriander leaves
PREPARATION
- In a pan add 1tsp of oil and fry jeera, coriander seeds, curry leaves and 3 red chillies.
- Once its fried add raw rice and grind to a fine paste by adding little water.
- In a pressure cooker add oil 3tsp, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, then add finely chopped small onion, curry leaves and red chilli.
- After onion changes its colour add mutton and turmeric powder.
- Once the mutton started to cook add the ground masala, salt and cook for 5 mins and add water.
- Pressure cook the mutton for 5 whistles.
- Transfer the gravy into a pan add pepper powder and cook till the gravy gets a thick consistency,
- Finely garnish with coriander leaves.
- Side dish for rice,roti,idly,dosa.
