INGREDIENTS
- Toor dal - 1/2cup
- Moong dal - 1/2cup
- Mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
- Jeera - 1/2tsp
- Red chilli - 3
- Green chilli - 2
- Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
- Onion - 1cup
- Tomato - 3/4cup
- Red chilli powder - 1tsp
- Coriander powder - 1tsp
- Turmeric powder -1/2tsp
- Garam masala -1/2tsp
- Curry leaves
- Salt
- Water
- Ghee
- Oil
- Coriander leaves
PREPARATION
- Cook Toor dal and moong dal in a pressure cooking by adding water and turmeric powder for 4whistles.
- In a pan add oil and ghee 3 tsp, mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves, red chilli and green chilli.
- Then add onion cook till it gets a light brown colour. then add ginger garlic paste.
- Add tomato, red chilli powder, coriander powder,garam masala. cook till oil separates.
- Then add cooked dal, salt and 1/2 cup water.
- Cook for 5 mins and garnish with coriander leaves, onion and lemon.
- Side dish for roti, jeera rice.
