INGREDIENTS
- Bitter gourd (pavakkai) - 250 gms
- Onion - 1/2 cup
- Tomato - 1/4 cup
- Garlic - 5
- Curry leaves
- Green chilli -1
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt
- Coconut oil - 5 tsp
- Coriander leaves
PREPARATION
- Clean the bitter gourd and cut into small pieces. Add a 3 tsp of oil and fry the bitter gourd.
- Cook till the bitter gourd changes its colour. Take another pan and add 2tsp of oil, garlic, onion, green chilli, curry leaves.
- Once the onion cooked well add tomato.
- After 5 mins add fried bitter gourd and red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Cook for another 5 mins and off the stove.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
