MERAKAI CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS

  • Merakai -1
  • Onion-1
  • Tomato-1
  • Channa dal-1tsp
  • Urad dal-1tsp
  • Red chilli-3
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Coconut-2tsp
  • Tamarin-small pinch
  • Oil
PREPARATION

  • Peel the skin of merakai, Add 1 tsp of oil and chopped merakai and cook for 5 mins.
  • In a pan add oil, chana dal, urad dal, red chilli, curry leaves, onion...
  • Once the onion is cooked well add tomato and merakai, coconut and tamarind.
  • Add salt and little water for grinding.
  • Serve with idly or dosa.
  • Healthy breakfast for kids.
