PULSES BALLS

INGREDIENTS

  • White chickpeas - 1/2cup
  • Black chickpeas -1/2cup
  • Green gram - 1/2 cup
  • Horse gram - 1/2 cup
  • Red cowpeas (Thatta payir ) - 1/2 cup
  • Onion - 1cup
  • Green chilli - 3
  • Garlic - 4pcs
  • Mint leaves - 1/4cup
  • Coriander leaves -1/4cup
  • Lemon juice - 3tsp
  • Cumin seeds- 1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Oil
  • Salt
PREPARATION

  • Soak all the pulses overnight or for 8hours.
  • Drain all the water and add in the mixer grinder.
  • With that add onion, green chilli, mint leaves, coriander leaves, cumin seeds.coriander seeds, salt, lemon juice.
  • Grind the mixture into a coarse paste. ( don't add water for grinding )
  • Make the mixture into small balls. ( after making balls keep in the fridge for 10 mins)
  • In a pan add oil and deep fry the balls. (keep the oil in low medium heat, fry the balls in hot oil.)
