INGREDIENTS
- Egg - 2
- Onion-2
- Tomato -3
- Pepper - 1/2tsp
- Fennel seeds - 1tsp
- Poppy seeds - 1/2tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
- Chilli powder - 1tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2tsp
- Coconut - 1/4cup
- Green chilli - 2
- Ginger garlic paste - 2tsp
- Oil
- Salt
- Water
PREPARATION
GRINDING
- In a pan add oil .fennel seeds, pepper, onion, curry leaves, poppy seeds and cook for 5 mins
- Add tomato once the onion changes its colour. add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and coconut and cook for 5 mins.
- Grind the paste in a mixture grinder.
- In a pan add oil, fennel seeds, onion and cook for 5-10 mins.
- Then add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli.
- Then add tomato and cook well.
- Once the tomato is cooked well add the ground paste, salt and water and let it cook till oil separates from the gravy.
- Beat the eggs with salt and pepper.
- Scramble the egg.
- Add the egg into the gravy,
- You can have salna without adding eggs also.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Side dish for idly,dosa,chapati,paratha.
