- Turmeric powder
- Clean and Cut the yam into small pieces ...In a pan add water, turmeric powder and 1tsp oil, salt and boil the yam..(yam should be half cooked)
- Drain the excess water from yam and keep it.
- In a pan add 3 -4tsp oil add onion, curry leaves and cook well...
- Grind ginger, garlic, cloves, cinamon, red chilli and coconut.
- Once the onion is cooked add the paste and cook well ..wait till the oil separate from the gravy.
- Then add yam and little water and salt...
- Mix well and close the pan and cook for mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
