PALLIPALAYAM CHICKEN FRY

Pallipalayam chicken fry recipe :

non-veg dry roasted chicken

INGREDIENTS:

FOR PALLIPALAYAM CHICKEN :

  • Chicken - 500 grams (with bones)
  • coconut oil - 3 tablespoon
  • garlic cloves - 15 (small)
  • Indian shallots - 100 to 150 grams
  • dried red chilies - 8 to 10 
  • turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  • coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt as required 
  • curry leaves - 4 springs
  • coconut (chopped) - 1/4 cup   

FOR THE GARNISH:

  • coriander leaves chopped 

PREPARATION:

  • Grind Indian shallots , garlic and 5 red chilies into coarse paste in the mixer/blender.
  • heat oil in the pan, add the remaining red chilies and chopped coconut to it.
  • add in the grounded paste and fry .
  • add turmeric powder, coriander powder and stir for a minute.
  • add chicken and salt .
  • cook the chicken in medium flame for about 30 to 40 mins .
the chicken would be dry after 40 mins , then add coriander leaves and curry leaves to it.
do cook and feel the delectable dish.
