MANGO PAYASAM

INGREDIENTS

  • Wheat Rava - 200 gms
  • Milk - 150 ml
  • Sugar - 100gms
  • Water - 250 ml
  • Condensed milk or milkmaid -3tsp 
  • Ghee- 2 tsp
  • Dry fruits - 3tsp
  • Mango -2
PREPARATION
  • In a pan add water and cook the wheat rava. once the rava is cooked add sugar and milk.
  • when the milk and sugar mixed well with cooked rava, off the stove and cool down.
  • Add condensed milk to the rava while it is hot (optional). If you are not adding condensed milk add  3tsp sugar extra while cooking itself.
  • Heat 2 tsp of ghee and add dry fruits ( raisins, cashews, badams) and roast it.
  • Take 2 mangoes and make it a puree.  once the mixture is cool down add the mango puree and dry fruits and mix well.before drinking add small pieces of mango in it.
  • It can be served as a cool dessert also by keeping in a fridge for an hour.
