- White lima beans(mochai)-250gms
- Big onion-50 gms
- Tomato-25 gms
- Ginger garlic paste -15 gms
- Curry leaves -5 gms
- Green chilli -2 nos
- Coriander powder - 1and half tsp
- Chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - half tsp
- Cumin powder - half tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Salt
- Coconut milk - half cup
- Corriander leaves
- Soak lima beans ( mochai) ( dry ) overnight. you can use fresh beans also.
- cook the soaked beans in the pressure cooker for 2 whistles.
- In a pan add oil and onion, let it cook for few mins .once the onion is cooked add green chillies, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste.
- Add tomato, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala.
- Once the raw smell of masala goes add cooked beans .cook it for 10 mins. (add the water which is used for cooking beans).
- Add coconut milk once the beans mixed well with masalas and cook for another 5 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Side dish for dosa, appam, chapati and variety rice.
