Chickpeas and Mixed Gram Dosa

INGREDIENTS

  • White or black chickpeas
  • Idly rice
  • Splitted bengal gram
  • Black gram sabut
  • Yellow split gram
  • Jeera
  • Hing
  • Redchilli
  • Big onion
  • Salt
  • Oil

PREPARATION

  • Soak chickpeas overnight or 8 hours.
  • Soak idli rice, splitted bengal gram, black gram sabut, Yellow split gram for 2 to 3 hours. ( chickpeas one cup and  other grams and idly rice  one cup).
  • Grind everything with jeera, hing, red chilli, onion (half big onion ) and salt.
  • Make the grinded mixture in the consistency of dosa batter. This dosa can be made once the batter is ready. Don't need to ferment the batter.
  • you can sprinkle chopped small onion,  curry leaves and coriander leaves. (optional)
  • Tamarind chutney or onion chutney will be good.
